FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Are your services free?
A: No. Please refer to each service’s page for pricing. I am not aware of any free anger management services.
Q: The judge ordered me to take anger management. How will I get reimbursed for the fees involved?
A: The cost of anger management services is your responsibility. Check with your attorney to be sure, but generally you are expected to foot the bill — not the judge.
Q: Do you take insurance/Sooner Care/Blue Cross/Other insurance?
A: No. Anger is considered a normal emotion — not an illness or medical condition — so insurance does not apply to anger management services.
Q: How can my probation officer verify my certificate?
A: Any certficate issued here can be verified online by visiting the verification form and entering the number printed at the bottom of the certificate. Only authentic certificates can be validated by the online system, so your referral source will know for certain that you are presenting “the real deal.”
Q: What is your refund policy for the home study course?
A: If no certificate has been issued you can receive a refund (minus a 10.00 re-stocking fee) within 30 days by returning all shipped items in new condition along with your name, address, email and phone number to:
Linda Chapman - RETURNS 7916 NW 23rd ST PMB 200 Bethany, OK 73008
Once a certificate has been issued: No refunds.
Q: Do I have to talk in front of other people in the class?
A: Class members do take turns reading portions of the text in class. I do ask class members to participate but you do not have to disclose anything about yourself or your situation that you do not wish to. Often people need a little time to gain comfort and ease in a class setting. That is normal and understandable and I allow for that.
If you are very uncomfortable with the idea of class participation you may wish to consider private coaching sessions or home study.
Q: Is there anyone who shouldn’t enroll in the home study option or in-person classes?
A: Textbooks are written at a ninth-grade reading level. If you have problems reading and understanding what you read you may do better in an interactive face-to-face class format. You must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently to benefit from the programs offered.
